Vail and Beaver Creek Resort Markets Remain Steady

Resort Markets Remain Steady

Residential resort sales at the end of the 3rd quarter continued at a steady pace with unit sales in Vail Village, Lionshead and Cascade up 9% compared to a year ago and total dollar volume up more than 68%! Both numbers can be attributed to a number of very high-end sales during this time period. The sales of $5m+ properties in these three areas is up from a year ago but down compared to 2012. The difference is that the total dollar volume is up compared to both 2013 and 2012 demonstrating that location, condition and style are dominating factors in this area.
In Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead we have seen a similar uptick in the market but more broad-based than Vail. Unit sales through the 3rd quarter are up approximately 21% and sales volume is up 24%. For more specific information about your interests, please contact us any time.
