Twenty-two-year Gypsum resident Armando Aragon has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties as a broker associate in the Gypsum real estate office. His addition brings the total number of brokers to 145 among the company’s 12 offices in 10 mountain resort communities, spanning from Summit County to the Western Slope.
Born in Wichita, Kansas, Aragon moved to Gypsum when he was one year old. After graduation, he joined Eagle Valley Clean Energy and became a homeowner at the age of 21. He worked with his uncle, also a real estate broker, on the purchase of his first home. His uncle noticed Aragon’s curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the process. He then encouraged Aragon to get his real estate license, which he received earlier this month, before joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties.
“Armando’s personal experience as a first-time, local buyer gave him valuable insights into the process and the opportunities available for other buyers to purchase a home in the Vail Valley,” said Michael Slevin, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties. “We’re delighted to have him join our Gypsum office team.”
