Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties’ Kaeli Gemmell and Linda Miner recently joined more than 200 other luxury real estate exhibitors at the prestigious LPS Shanghai Exhibition. Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, this year’s invitation only event attracted over 12,000 of the city’s elite property buyers to interact and mingle with the world’s most influential property experts.
Gemmell and Miner joined eight other Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices companies from Portugal, Australia, Dallas, Houston and Sun Valley in a dedicated exhibit area, showcasing the breadth of luxury real estate properties available in prominent U.S. resort destinations. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices also hosted a special networking reception at The Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Shanghai.
Offered as an international networking opportunity to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties’ associate brokers, Gemmell and Miner connected with prospective buyers and investors as well as other brokerage firms. Both cited the networking opportunities that included Chinese as well as other exhibitors and investors from around the world as a highlight of the show.

“Kaeli and I learned a lot and made some valuable connections through our interactions with buyers and brokers,” said Miner. “The exhibition and events enabled us to gain a better understanding as to what motivates buyers to invest and to gauge the global interest in our community.” Gemmell added, “It was really interesting to learn about a different culture, the market variances and in general how different the U.S. is from other market territories.” “It was an honor for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties to be invited and have Kaeli and Linda represent our brand,” said Michael Slevin, president. “It takes a lot of initiative to attend and participate in an event of this nature, particularly overseas, and we expect their experience to benefit them for years to come.”
