VAIL, Colo. (Aug. 26, 2020) – Sixteen-year Vail Valley resident Chris Armistead has joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties as a broker associate in its Edwards office.
Born and raised in Michigan, Armistead began visiting the Vail Valley in the 1980s on family ski trips. He ended up moving to Vail in 2004 after graduating from Northwood University in Midland, Mich., where he earned an associate degree in advertising and a Bachelor of Arts in marketing and business management, with an emphasis in public relations, risk management and entrepreneurship.
Prior to getting his broker’s license, Armistead worked for TV8, as well as a manager for Vail Resorts and Peak 1 Express in Avon. He left Vail Resorts to pursue his real estate passion, a longtime dream, which stemmed from his upbringing and family’s involvement in construction, property management and land development.
Chris’ broad-based business and marketing background as well as his longevity in the Vail Valley add valuable dimensions to his work as a real estate broker. He is a welcome addition to our Edwards office.
said Michael Slevin, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties.

Outside the real estate arena, Armistead enjoys skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and stand up paddle boarding. He is married to Whitney Armistead, with whom they have three children. Armistead can be reached at chris.armistead@bhhsvail.net or 970-471-3848.
