As I write this on the eve of Thanksgiving there are so many things to be thankful for. In our world of Black Friday and Cyber Monday it is actually easier now more than ever to appreciate the smaller things the season and our valley have to offer. The Turkey Trot in Eagle-Vail will be a highlight, as will the lighting of the trees in Vail and Beaver Creek, world class ski racing the first two weeks of the season, concerts, carolers, sledding, cookies and gingerbread houses galore. The days and weeks will be filled with fireworks and ice skating, family and friends – and all of it open and free to both residents and visitors.
In the spirit of the season we hosted our 6th annual Salvation Army Food Drive in Eagle. Look for us outside The Village Market in Edwards of December 7th and Avon’s City Market n the 14th. It is a busy time of year in the valley with kids out of school and visitors from around the world descending on the valley. Enjoy the hustle and bustle, friends and family. We look forward to working with you in the coming weeks and months.
Enjoy the holiday season,
