If you have seen the evening colors throughout Vail Valley communities at night, it’s a beautiful celebration of the season. Lights adorn statues and trees, houses and businesses in a holiday display unique to each neighborhood. The holidays are an exciting time for locals and guests and create a delightful experience in what is already a magical setting. From the mountains to play on (see: skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing, to name a few) to carolers on the streets, performances at a variety of venues and the chance to spend time with family and friends, we are fortunate to have all of this and more here in the valley. It is a welcome change in scenery and pace, gives us an opportunity to pause and reflect and affords us a time to reconnect. If you are here in December and to welcome the new year, I’d love to see you and say hello during this special time of year. And if your travels take you away from the valley, I hope your holidays and new year are filled with wonderful memories.
