Ten-year Vail Valley resident Judith Stein has recently joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties as a broker associate in the Lionshead office.
Bringing more than 20 years’ real estate experience, Stein first earned her license in 1992 in Turin, Italy and became one of its first native English-speaking agents. During her tenure, she established Relocation Overseas, a real estate firm specializing in luxury villas, with a primary focus on helping expatriated executives and their families find dream homes in this business and cultural international destination.
Born and raised in Morristown, N.J., Stein attended Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H., where she holds a bachelor’s degree in Asian studies and a minor in economics. As part of her college education, she was also selected for a year-long exchange program at Keio University during her sophomore year. In preparation for the program, she studied Japanese at a 10-week intensive summer program at Middlebury College in Vermont.
Following graduation, Stein worked as an analyst in the real estate department for Goldman Sachs in New York. She was then transferred to Tokyo to help open Goldman Sachs’ first corporate office in Japan.
Upon moving to Vail in 2011 and being an outdoor enthusiast, Stein quickly realized the area was the perfect home for her. Her interests include hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and alpine and cross-country skiing. She is also an avid runner and has completed several marathons, including Turin, Florence, Vercelli, New York and Big Sur. In 2014, she became a PSIA certified level 2 ski instructor based out of Vail’s Golden Peak. She is also the mother of three daughters, ages 24-28.
We’re delighted to have Judith join our team and bring her international and real estate experience, as well as her penchant for seeking out different kinds of architecture and design solutions, to our clients
said Michael Slevin, president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Colorado Properties.
