Eagle Ranch Golf Course Open for Activities – The golf course is not just for summer anymore! The Eagle Ranch golf course is open for Nordic Skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, biking, and other winter activities. The track is open to the public, although the Eagle Valley High School teams do use it to practice after school. The course can be accessed in many locations around the Eagle Ranch community but there is parking provided near the clubhouse. Colorado Mountain Medical Edwards Location Moving – CMM, one of the largest mediacal providers in Eagle County is moving its Edwards office, currently in the Shaw Center on Beard Rd, to a new location in June. The new office will be located in the Buck Creek Medical Plaza, currently under construction in Avon. All of the other Colorado Mountain Medical locations will remain in their current locations. Colorado Home Sales and Prices Increase – “Median home prices continue to rise statewide and completed sales heated up in December, reversing a slowdown that began in June, according to a report released Wednesday by the Colorado Association of Realtors. There were 6,617 single-family home sales last month, up 21 percent from November and up 10.6 percent from December 2014. Townhome and condo sales hit 2,092 in December, up 14 percent from the month before and a 7.1 percent increase for the year. The total number of homes sold last year reached 109,957, up 7 percent from 2014, the report said.” Read the whole article here.
