November is a time of transition here in the valley as fall gives way to skiers and riders and our valley comes alive again. It is also a time of transition in our real estate market.

An influx of new, part-time and vacationers are arriving, all seeking to enjoy a brief or extended period of time in the valley we are so fortunate to call home. This summer and fall the market was very active. Unit sales are trending at about the same levels as 2018, but made up for a slower start to the year (perhaps everyone was enjoying all the epic snow we received last season).
Dollar volume has increased slightly from a year ago and the most important factor, inventory, remains at consistent levels for this time of year. The economy and other macro-factors remain positive and we expect the market to stay busy through the balance of 2019 and into 2020.
Our diverse market means that when examining a purchase or sale of a property in Eagle County we look at the neighborhoods and even the complexes or streets to understand what is happening.
Our market can see different activity levels throughout a particular area so please contact me if you would like to learn more about a particular market niche.
