Copper Mountain Real Estate
Copper Mountain is a skier’s paradise. With over 2,465 skiable acres, the sprawling ski resort is the largest ski area in Summit County. Most homes and condominiums for sale at Copper Mountain are within walking distance of the lifts. The well-appointed community has various homes and condos for sale. Ski apartments of all shapes and sizes are just a short distance from the lifts, and larger private residences with ski-in and ski-out access are a little further from the slopes.
Summit County real estate at Copper Mountain provides a great place to live for those who enjoy endless skiing and a relaxed atmosphere. The resort comprises three separate ski villages – East Village, Copper Village (or Center Village), and West Village. Two- and three-bedroom ski condos are the most common dwellings, especially in Copper Village. Apartments and townhouses here are very affordable, considering the proximity to the slopes. Most condos with three or fewer bedrooms sell for less than $1 million, with many for less than $700,000.
Another attractive real estate opportunity in Copper Mountain is larger private residences and townhouses. The three base areas have luxury mansions, some with ski-in and ski-out. Compared to other resorts like Vail, luxury mountain real estate in Copper Mountain is significantly less expensive than other resorts. Copper Mountain homes with five or more bedrooms sell for $1 million to $3 million.
Frisco Real Estate
Frisco is one of the most affordable towns for Summit County real estate. Properties for sale in Frisco are attractive to young working families who love mountain life. There are excellent single-family homes and smaller condos for sale. Nestled on Lake Dillon and just minutes from Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, and Keystone, there is no shortage of outdoor experiences for all seasons. About two-thirds of Frisco’s households work full-time, so the community is very active.
Residential properties north of Main Street and east of Summit Boulevard/Highway 9 are accessible via Hawn Drive. These larger homes vary, but most have three to four bedrooms and sell for between $1 million and $3 million. Most homes here are new construction or extensive conversions of existing properties. There are some smaller condos priced under $1 million. This part of the city is more remote than the city core and offers more spacious lots.
South of Main Street is a more traditional street network with affordable housing and condos priced around $500,000. From Pine Drive on the east side to 8th Avenue on the west side and Main Street south to Bedford Avenue, a range of residences and condos exist. You can purchase three-bedroom homes here for less than $1 million. South of Belford Street is upscale properties such as Mountainside Condominiums.
Dillon Real Estate
Dillon is a self-governing community smaller than most in Summit County, but it enjoys a prime location next to scenic Dillon Lake. The community of about 900 residents has a wide variety of properties for sale. There are larger homes for sale near Dillon and Summit Cove and upscale condos perfect for independents, new families, or those just starting in Rocky Mountain real estate.
One of Dillon’s most unique features is its marina. The pier sits at the northeast corner of the lake. A park and several lakeside apartments are just a short walk from the water’s edge. Dillon Pier has a wide variety of shops and restaurants to explore.
Summit Cove is a growing community of Summit County real estate, south of Dillon via Highway 9. If you love the lake and ski lifestyle, this is the perfect place to build your dream home. Several private homes are listed here for sale between $1 million and $2 million. There are some open spaces for future development.
Keystone Real Estate
Keystone is in the heart of Summit County, about 10 minutes from Arapahoe Basin and 20 minutes from Copper Mountain and Breckenridge. Homes and condos in Keystone are perfect for families who want a mountain lifestyle and love the outdoors. Seven to eight months of the year is endless skiing, while the rest of the year is spent hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, golfing, and horseback riding in the lush Rocky Mountains.
The resort has all types of real estate for sale, including mansions and estates, upscale townhouses, ski condos, and timeshares. Single-family homes in Keystone go from two- or three-bedroom homes to larger homes with seven or more bedrooms.
Property prices in Keystone vary. Luxury real estate ranges from $1 million to over $4 million. The $4 million home is a more secluded property with more than 5,000 feet of total living space. Keystone’s largest selection of private residences and luxury condos range from $1 million to $2 million, with living sizes ranging from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. Upscale two- and three-bedroom apartments sell for less than $1 million, with less expensive one-bedrooms selling for around $500,000.
Breckenridge Real Estate
Surrounded by national forests, Breckenridge is an outdoor paradise with a well-established network of hiking and biking trails and world-class ski resorts. Breckenridge is a National Historic District with beautiful 19th-century buildings in the city center that have existed since the city’s fiery mining days. The charming historic district offers residents and visitors a variety of restaurants, bars, and boutiques.
Breckenridge has various condos and homes for sale Homes in this diverse community come in all shapes and sizes, from luxury upscale single-family homes with seven or more bedrooms to more affordable one- and two-bedroom apartments. There are new subdivisions with upscale homes and some vacant lots for future construction.
North of the city core is a luxury development with some of the best views. This prestigious community features unique homes and the only 27-hole Jack Nicklaus urban golf course in the United States. The neighborhood is a little further from the city center but only minutes away from ski resorts and fantastic restaurants.
Blue River Real Estate
Blue River is an upscale community south of Breckenridge on Highway 9. Summit County real estate for sale in Blue River are typically high-end, luxury, multi-bedroom private residences. There are smaller homes for sale with two and three bedrooms and larger estates and houses with seven or more bedrooms. The community still needs to be fully developed, so there are many vacant lots for sale with lots of open space and views.
Large homes with more than 3,000 square feet of living space sell for about $3 million, while smaller homes with approximately 1,800 square feet sell for about $1 million. Blue River lots are typically half an acre. Blue River’s brand new and like-new turnkey residences offer panoramic views and plenty of space to entertain guests, just minutes from downtown Breckenridge, one of Colorado’s most desirable mountain destinations. Although considered a bedroom community in Breckenridge, about 900 Summit County residents call Blue River home.
Silverthorne Real Estate
Silverthorne is the commercial center of Summit County and has many of the best stores, supermarkets, and factory outlets. Residents who call Silverthorne home live in a resource-rich community with a new performing arts center and enjoy a variety of summer concerts and festivals. The town is a beautiful home with various high-end homes, townhouses, duplexes, and luxury condos.
Real estate ranges from small, efficient ski condos to larger single-family homes and ranches. The average home cost in Silverthorne is about $800,000, well below the neighboring ski community, giving residents great value when it comes to selling. Close to I-70 are luxury condos with approximately 1,500 square feet of living space and three and four bedrooms. Further north along Highway 9, larger homes and townhouses are available. Houses typically have four or more bedrooms, with square feet of living space ranging from 2,500 to over 5,000 feet.
Heeney Real Estate
The unincorporated community of Heeney is a quiet, secluded community. There are some beautiful private homes in the area, perfect for those looking to enjoy a comfortable mountain lifestyle with an emphasis on camping, water sports, and off-road driving. There are few condos for sale here, as there aren’t many services other than a bait shop, a marina, and a few scattered campgrounds.
Real estate in Heeney is much less expensive than in the rest of Summit County. Properties for sale are on Heeney Road or one of the connecting roads to the west of the reservoir. Homes for sale vary from two to five bedrooms. Overall, luxury two-bedroom private homes are priced at around $1 million. Homes with more bedrooms have more bedrooms, depending on amenities and total area. Heeney has several new build properties and some excellent renovations to older homes.
